The CEO Italian Awards 2025 ceremony, co-organised by Business International – the Knowledge Unit of Fiera Milano SpA – and Forbes Italia, was held on Wednesday 3 December. The 17 winners were announced during the traditional closing gala of the CEO Italian Summit, which this year saw the participation of over 200 leading figures from the Italian economic, financial and business world, including CEOs, entrepreneurs, institutional leaders and academics.
The 2025 ranking of the 17 big names also included Roberto Pierucci, CEO of RCR Cristalleria Italiana, who was awarded in the “Design” category for leading the company by promoting Italian design and know-how, combining tradition and production innovation, strengthening its position as a leader in the sector and ambassador of Made in Italy around the world.
‘This is not rhetoric, but I want to share this award with the team, because it is only with a good team that you can achieve a prestigious result,’ said Pierucci, accepting the award. We are in the heart of Chianti, where we produce 35 million pieces every year, including glasses, goblets and tableware, and we employ 500 families, both directly and indirectly, who live off 100% Made in Italy products. Looking at the global scenario, our sector is very competitive, but what we can do is a “magical agreement”, as we call it: working by focusing on what makes us exceptional and unique, namely design, quality and innovation. I think this is what will save the priceless wealth of Made in Italy, a wealth that we must protect if we want to give a future to this heritage that is unique in the world. We Italians have a storytelling tradition that other countries do not have; behind every product we present, made in Italy, there is an extraordinary story, and what will forever illuminate the artificial intelligence that everyone talks about will be something that no one will ever be able to copy: passion.
