RCR wins the CPO Award with the project “La Moleria dei Talenti” at the Business Leaders Summit 2025!

RCR-CPO awards

On June 19 and 20, RCR participated in the Business Leaders Summit, one of the most relevant events of the year for the Italian management world. Title of this edition: “Keep Time and Manage Leadership,” an invitation to reflect on the value of time as a strategic resource to drive change, manage complexity and put the person back at the center, in an era of continuous transformation.

During the two-day event, which brought together more than 300 top managers and C-levels from all over Italy, our CEO Roberto Pierucci spoke on a keynote panel together with Stefano Scarpetta, Director for Employment, Labor and Social Affairs at the OECD, moderated by Giusi Legrenzi.

A high-level dialogue on the topic of time, the future of work and the centrality of people

Our CEO shared his concrete experience at RCR: he recounted the value of TUNC, the approach that guides our corporate culture, and the Lightness Index, which measures organizational well-being within the corporate context.

RCR then received the prestigious “CPO Award 2025” for the “La Moleria dei Talenti” project, in the Employee Health and Wellbeing category. An award that recognizes our company’s commitment to putting people at the center by looking at the future of each individual resource. The following day, Corrado Petri, R&D Manager, represented RCR in a panel discussion dedicated to business innovation, bringing our vision on the role of research and sustainability in the future of Made in Italy.

Two intense days of listening, discussion and inspiration, confirming how RCR is an active player in a dialogue that looks to tomorrow with responsibility and concreteness.

RCR’s “Moleria dei Talenti” honored at CPO Awards 2025: the value of people at the center of growth paths

RCR, Italian excellence in the production of Luxion® superior sound glass, won the CPO Award 2025 in the “Employee health and wellbeing” category thanks to the Moleria dei Talenti project. The award was presented during the CPO Summit 2025, an integral part of the Business Leaders Summit 2025, one of the most important events internationally where top managers, teams and companies that put the circular economy at the center of their procurement strategies, accelerating growth, innovation, equity and sustainability in business, are honored.

The Talent Mill represents the heart of RCR’s commitment to the well-being of its human resources. With this program, the company has created a work environment in which every employee, from blue-collar to white-collar workers, can develop a concrete and personalized career path. The initiative grew out of an in-depth analysis conducted of all employees – 185 blue-collar workers and 115 white-collar, middle-collar and executive staff – to assess the skills, value, personal characteristics and aspirations of each. This process allowed for an objective snapshot of each resource’s potential, without any evaluative or judgmental intent, but with the goal of building tailored growth opportunities.
“The talent mill” represents a novelty in the industrial HR landscape, which is often focused on the career paths of employees and less attentive to blue-collar workers. In RCR, on the other hand, everyone who joins the company, even in the most strenuous roles such as working in front of forming machines or at the end of the line, knows they have a structured future: from junior to specialist, senior to trainer. A model that creates motivation, belonging, and a long-term vision. Also part of the program is the RCR Academy, a training ecosystem where each employee can enhance his or her technical and soft skills. Continuing education is a pillar of the company’s philosophy that “doing right by people is good for business.”
“This award is an extraordinary recognition of the work we have done within RCR, trying to give value and dignity to what is the time we spend together with our colleagues” – commented Roberto Pierucci. RCR’s CEO also spoke in the opening talk of the Business Leaders Summit 2025 moderated by journalist Giusi Legrenzi, who particularly appreciated “the lightness index” developed by RCR management using artificial intelligence.

“The talent mill” is also part of a higher concept of “Humanism in Foundry,” a philosophy with which RCR pursues its commitment to harmonizing productivity and well-being through safe working conditions, innovative technologies, and an organization that values human capital. A choice of responsibility that positions RCR as a virtuous and reliable partner in the ho.re.ca and trade sector, able to face market challenges with solidity and vision.
