In Frankfurt, the “show” of design and functionality that will shape RCR’s narrative throughout the year is unveiled. The collection marks the first in a series of new releases coming in the months ahead.
Circus opens RCR’s 2026. This is the name of the new line and of the narrative and design concept that the Tuscan company presents at Ambiente, the leading international event for the tableware, hospitality, and retail sectors, scheduled in Frankfurt from 6 to 10 February 2026. This debut marks the beginning of a year full of new developments, launches, and fresh interpretations of superior sound glass.
Inspired by the world of the circus, Circus is a metaphor for a complex balance in which strength, trust, lightness, innovation, and reliability—values that have always guided RCR’s way of working—find tangible expression within the new line.
The collection includes the Dof, HB, and Rock glasses, designed to be versatile, stackable, and instantly recognizable, with a design that brings the energy of the circus world to the contemporary table.
The first two are suitable for multiple serving occasions, from cocktails and spirits to water, juices, soft drinks, and mocktails.
The Rock glass further expands the collection’s range of applications, establishing itself as a versatile tool also for food service: ideal for finger food, savory snacks, spoon desserts, and garnishes, as well as for serving flavored waters, ice cream, or fruit salads.
What makes Circus particularly relevant for the professional sector, however, is RCR’s stacking system, featured in all three glasses. This system allows different references to be stacked together within the same column, for example in combination with the TIKI line. A design choice that makes a real difference in a context where space optimization—in kitchens, behind the bar, and in storage areas—is an absolute priority. The glasses stack precisely and securely, enabling restaurateurs and bartenders to store larger quantities in less space, speed up service operations, and simplify daily management, without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.
At the heart of the Circus line is Luxion®, RCR’s patented superior sound glass, an expression of excellence in Italian glassmaking. Its composition, which includes at least 10% noble oxides, ensures extraordinary transparency and brilliance, capable of capturing and amplifying light while enhancing colors and contents.
Alongside its aesthetic qualities, Luxion® offers outstanding technical performance: it is resistant, dishwasher safe, and 100% recyclable, confirming its status as a reliable, cutting-edge material for intensive professional use.
“Circus, with its professionalism, commitment, and passion, represents RCR’s values,” says Roberto Pierucci, CEO of RCR Cristalleria Italiana. “The world of the circus combines apparent lightness with great technical rigor, balance with trust, preparation with the ability to amaze. It is a perfect metaphor for our daily work: designing products that are beautiful, but above all reliable and functional, created for those who use them every day.”
With Circus, RCR strengthens its vision of the glass evolving from a simple container into a technical tool for the professional world. Each product is born from constant dialogue with food & beverage professionals, bartenders, and industry operators, with the aim of developing solutions that address real and concrete needs. Collaborations with specialists and associations, both nationally and internationally, enable the company to integrate functionality, aesthetics, and innovation, reinforcing its role as a reliable partner for the Ho.Re.Ca. and Retail sectors.
The launch of the Circus line at Ambiente therefore marks the beginning of a journey that will accompany RCR throughout 2026: a year defined by new collections, projects, and interpretations of glass, designed to read the evolution of the industry and continue transforming glass into a working tool, an expression of design, and a source of value for professionals.
