RCR promotes safety inside and outside the company: two defibrillators have been installed, one available to the citizens of Colle di Val d'Elsa

“Doing good for people and the environment is good for business”, this is the inspiring principle of RCR Cristalleria Italiana's choices and which leads to concrete facts for the well-being of its employees and the entire community of Colle di Val d'Elsa . The latest news concerns safety and health protection, in fact two semi-automatic external defibrillators (AED) have just been installed at its headquarters. The first defibrillator was installed within the company in a point crossed daily by hundreds of employees, to ensure prompt intervention in the event of a cardiac emergency. The second defibrillator, however, was positioned outside, in front of the reception, in a strategic position accessible to all. The decision to make the defibrillator available to the entire community responds to RCR's desire to actively contribute to the safety of the area, offering a life-saving tool in a busy residential area which hosts numerous activities, including bars, restaurants, a sports field and tennis courts.

“The installation of the defibrillators is a significant step in our ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of both our employees and the local community,” said Roberto Pierucci, CEO of RCR Cristalleria Italiana. “We firmly believe that safety is an essential value and we are proud to be able to offer a concrete contribution to the protection of human life”.

Every year, in Italy, around 57,000 people suffer from cardiac arrest and the use of a defibrillator quickly significantly reduces short- and long-term mortality. Thanks to law n° 120 of 2001, anyone who knows how to use the semi-automatic defibrillator can intervene by restoring the heart rhythm, safely, while waiting for help, reducing the percentage of adverse cases.

The RCR Mixology Day stopped in Naples!

The RCR Mixology Day stopped in Naples, at the CIS in Nola at Casolaro Hotellerie for an event dedicated to innovations in the field of bartending in the company of Danny Del Monaco!

The event, completely free, saw the participation of operators, partners and enthusiasts who tried their hand at preparing 5 cocktails created in glasses and stemware from the Timeless RCR collection.

Seasonality, wellbeing, reinterpretation of the great classics and the cocktail pairing trend were the themes addressed during the masterclass.

RCR has once again positioned itself as a reference company and maximum interpreter of cocktail art, capable of addressing both sector professionals and the increasingly attracted, attentive and curious private consumer with an eye always turned to innovations in the mixology field.


RCR CHALLENGES 2024 at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Siena

The awards ceremony for the RCR Challenges 2024 took place on 29 May, a contest organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Siena and with Federmanager Siena. The students created project works dedicated to the horeca and catering world. CEO Roberto Pierucci rewarded the top three finishers.

An event dedicated entirely to the magical figure of Pinocchio, for which Collodi found inspiration in the Tuscan town, took place on Saturday 25 May at the RCR Factory Store in Colle di Val D'Elsa.
Adults and children alike were able to spend an afternoon full of fun and shopping!

Numerous partners participated together with RCR and delighted guests, customers and visitors with their delicacies. Collaborators: the Galognano winery, the Belmicolle restaurant, the Jolly Bar, the Le Follie di Arnolfo chocolate shop, the Gota Cotta association.

The children had fun with many creative workshops, drawing, painting, face painting, storytellers with the Blue Fairy and Fire Eater. Everyone then witnessed a performance by the Bi-Polar duo, with live music.

A beautiful atmosphere and an afternoon full of fun!



Last May 21st, the meeting with the press entitled "Doing good for people and the environment is good for business" took place in Milan, at IlluMI.
CEO Roberto Pierucci wanted to present the inspiring principle with which RCR has developed a new business model over the years, where economic sustainability is the natural fruit of social and environmental sustainability. This distinctive approach to business is embodied by the acronym TUNC (Time, Humanity, Nature, Change), containing the fundamental values ​​that guide the company and serve as a strategic tool for achieving company objectives.

May 1, 2024 is a date to remember, of great importance and pride for RCR.

My colleague Massimo Scarpellini in fact had the honor of receiving the "Star of Merit of Work" officially becoming a "Master of Work", a position conferred by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella for workers who have distinguished themselves in the professional activities carried out in the sector company for their professional quality, for the improvements they have made to the daily company activity or for the lessons they have been able to pass on to younger colleagues.

The award ceremony took place in the Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio where, on May 1st, 75 people were awarded in the presence of the highest authorities of Tuscany together with the Prefects of the provincial capitals and the mayors of the territories of residence of the awardees .

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is an action program signed on 25 September 2015 in New York by the governments of 193 UN member countries, including Italy. The final document, adopted at the end of the Summit, is based on five key concepts, represented by the 5 "Ps":

1. People. Eliminate hunger and poverty in all its forms, guarantee dignity and equality.

Wine&Siena 2024

Lo scorso weekend, dal 27 al 29 gennaio, si è svolta la nona edizione del Wine&Siena 2024, appuntamento enologico immancabile, al quale RCR ha preso parte come ogni anno in qualità di sponsor tecnico.

Wine&Siena è un evento di grande prestigio che celebra la tradizione vinicola ed enogastronomica di Siena e dell’Italia ospitando produttori da tutto il territorio nazionale. 120 espositori presenti e oltre 500 prodotti in degustazione.

Our Universum glass was the real protagonist used during tastings, tastings, seminars and masterclasses.

Over the course of the three days, 2,500 people were registered, including visitors, accredited journalists and sector operators.

Each of them was able to live the experience within a unique journey characterized by fascinating locations such as the Palazzo Comunale, the Grand Hotel Continental Siena Starhotels Collezione and the Santa Maria della Scala.

Il Wine&Siena apre da anni la stagione fieristica enologica ed enogastronomica che si concluderà con il Merano Wine Festival fissato dall’8 al 12 novembre 2024.

The next edition, which will celebrate the tenth anniversary, will be held from 25 to 27 January 2025.

AMBIENTE 2024 RCR “Like in a Movie”

Ambiente 2024, the largest global exhibition dedicated to consumer goods and the Horeca sector, has just ended.
The fair, which took place at Messe Frankfurt from 26 to 30 January, welcomed 140,000 visitors from all over the world and 4,700 exhibitors from 80 different countries.
Numerous events, seminars and workshops took place in the exhibition area of ​​approximately 270,000 m2 which allowed all operators in the sector to strengthen their network of contacts.
Our “Like in a Movie” stand, in Hall 12.1-B73, welcomed numerous visitors and customers who were able to view all the 2024 novelties and rejoice with us for the victory obtained by our TIKI glasses with the “Tableware International Award of Excellence 2024” in the Casual Glassware category.
A great satisfaction that we want to share with all those who strongly believe in the RCR team!
