Manola Del Testa graduated from
the I.S.I.A. (Higher Institute for Industrial and Communication Design) in Florence, and thereafter attended the Domus Academy
In 1993 she began to work as a designer in Florence in various Tuscan productive sectors, including leather, silver, stones such as marble and alabaster, ceramics and crystal. She has collaborated with Ritzhenoff (D), ABC Progetti (Milan), Commission for the advancement of Women (Malta), Ajeto (Novi-Bor), Fondazione G.K. Koenig and Artex (Florence), among others.
Since 1998 she has worked for RCR Cristalleria Italiana, where she is currently Creative Director and head of the Design Department. Since 1995 she has taught seminars on glass design at the I.S.I.A. in Florence, the Masters in Glass Design program for the Industrial Design Center of Montevideo, and the CIAV in Maisenthal (France) with Francois Burkhardt e Gilberto Corretti.
She’s working with Animation Lights Project (ALP): a selected group of collaborators and students is working to realize ambitious and no conventional project, where the languages of the animations, is show and entertainment at the same time, between art and technology.
